Custom Engraved Wood Keychain

A wooden tag on a leather strap, laser-engraved on both sides. The laser burns the design into the grain rather than printing on top of it, so there is nothing to scratch off, fade or peel. It wears the way wood wears.

What you get

• Wooden keychain, leather strap and split ring — one piece, ready for your keys
• Your chosen design engraved on the front
• About half an ounce, small enough that you forget it is there

Pick your wood

Three to choose from, and the stain does half the work. White maple finish is the palest, so the burn lands darkest and sharpest against it. Cherry finish sits in the middle, warm and reddish. Rose finish is the darkest of the three, so the design comes through quieter and deeper. None of them is better than the others — it depends whether you want the design to shout or to sit back.

Pick your design

Over forty designs in the library: aliens, cryptids, skulls, moons, hands, mushrooms, the odd trilobite. Choose one and it goes on as it is.

Add your own words

There is room for a short line of text — a name, a date, a call sign, an inside joke. Leave it blank and the design stands on its own. Limit of 8 characters.

What is on the back

Every keychain carries the TheVoidCreates mark and a QR that leads back to the shop. That side is burned ahead of time in batches, so when your order comes in the only thing left to do is your side.

How long it takes

Made to order in Illinois, USA. Most go out within the week, usually by that weekend.

Something else in mind?

The library covers the catalog, not the limits of the laser. If you want your own artwork on one, or a run of these for a shop or an event, tell me what you have in mind and I will quote it.
